Nomad Adjusting realizes that the independent adjusting industry is competitive. This is why we expect a lot from our adjusters. In turn, as an adjuster working through our firm, you will be treated fairly and compensated well. To us, you are an integral part of the success of our company. You will not be treated as a number, but rather you will be respected as an individual. Below is our commitment to our clients. What to Expect from Nomad
The Company
Nomad Adjusting will, at all times, conduct itself with integrity and professionalism. We value each contract we acquire and will strive to exceed all of our clients’ needs, trying never to become complacent or take our clients for granted. We understand that our disposition with all members of our clients’ staff, from upper management to administrative assistants, should always be courteous and helpful. When any of Nomad’s staff or independent adjusters deal with policyholders, their representatives, or their contractors, we will always remember that our attitudes are a reflection on those for whom we work, and we will never conduct ourselves unbefitting our clients. Should any challenging encounters occur, we encourage all of our staff to speak to our management and allow those with the most experience in conflict resolution to take charge.
Our Adjusters
Our managers screen all of our adjusters prior to deploying them to ensure that they are proficient in the estimating platform that our client prefers. We review their work history and expect a high level of professionalism from each of our independent adjusters. All field adjusters must have a minimum of two years of experience before they are allowed to handle claims without supervision.
In the event of a major catastrophe or a busy storm season, sometimes the minimum experience requirement of field adjusters must be overlooked in order to take care of the policyholders in a timely manner. However, we vow to not compromise on the caliber files we submit. Nomad employs only seasoned file reviewers that examine each claim file before it is submitted to our client. This added measure helps to produce a quality work product which meets our stringent standards and yours.
Nomad demands a business-casual dress code of all our field adjusters. We recognize that in most cases this individual is the only person to have direct contact with the policyholder. This person represents our good name and that of our client, and we want the insured to find the adjuster presentable and the experience as stress-free as possible.
